Community Crisis Response Service
York Support Services Network offers the Community Crisis Response Service for persons living in York Region or South Simcoe who are having a mental health crisis, and their family or friends.
We provide immediate emotional support, practical assistance, information and referrals to individuals victimized by crime or tragic circumstance.
Yellow Brick House provides emergency shelter, crisis counselling, as well as, parenting support including program for moms of infants and toddlers.

Free care for victims/survivors of domestic abuse and sexual assault including emergency care following abuse or an assault, examination, testing, follow-up care, counselling and many other services as needed. Services are provided by health care professionals who are specially trained in forensics and trauma related to abuse and assault. The centre also provides counselling and support to family members and caregivers.
Sandgate offers a wide range of services designed to support and empower women and their children who wish to transition to a life free of violence. You will find a home-like environment including;
Food, clothing, linen, personal items;
Housing support;
Access to legal and financial clinics;
Identification clinics;
Employment supports;
Personal needs allowance;
Support groups; and,
Child and youth services.
We are a resource and referral center and help connect people to registered agencies and then offer further assistance via their case workers. Delivery Hope program provides survivors assistance through product distribution. This includes clothing (women, children and sometimes men), housewares, toiletries, bedding and much more.
Resources include Crisis Counselling, Safety Planning, and case management for Women being exploited, and Human Trafficking.
The Assaulted Women’s Helpline is a free, anonymous and confidential 24-hour telephone and TTY crisis telephone line to all women in the province of Ontario who have experienced any form of abuse.
AWHL’s team of trained counsellors provide crisis counselling, safety planning, emotional support, information and referrals accessible 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Located in Markham, this partner provides services to survivors of intimate partner violence/family violence/human trafficking to receive wraparound, holistic supports. We are a ‘one stop shop’ to access multiple services; Crisis Intervention, Prevention Support; Intervention Support and Basic Universal Human Service Supports.
