Women's Centre of York Region would like to thank the NewRoads Automotive Group and the Newmarket Chamber of Commerce for supporting women in your community! An astonishing $10,400 was raised at the International Women's Day Celebration to support the free services offered to women through WCYR.

We would like to kick off our #HelpKeepHerSafe 2021 campaign on April 1 2021, with this incredible donation from an amazing group of people! We would like to recognize all nominees for playing such an important role in your community, making an effort to #ChooseToChallenge for gender equality and thank you for taking part in celebrating Women’s Achievements. For the past 11 years we have been very proud and truly honoured for the continued support by the NewRoads Automotive Group. To date, the WCYR has received over $100,000 in donations towards our programs and services through our success in celebrating International Women's Day together.

Our response to COVID-19 is to #HelpKeepHerSafe.
